Tryst with Destiny

i was always in awe of Nehru’s this particular piece of speech, i think Rushdie celebrated the theme further in the Midnight’s Children?

One another which is my all time favorite was Mrs Indira Gandhi’s  last speech:

i was a kid,i had heard this what she said and i had cried deeply when she was struck dead. India had cried actually from heart.

Lady had steel in her and i always admired her for her human flaws and lovely heart. i did read her biography and i fell in desperate love with her.

For me Nehru or Indira were human beings, lovely sweet hearts. i loved the sophisticated polish they reflected,i admire for what all they had or not. Because i see them how i want see them, through my eyes. Two very Lovely people.

Sweetie,Eyes.

Few people i do miss every then and now.
