Lt Gen Punita Arora PVSM, AVSM, SM

The power, responsibility and authority when comes to woman, she knows how to carry it well.

I first came to know about General when I was browsing the social media and here I see her, with all her grace and personality. I was curious.

Punita Arora was the first woman, who secured a second highest rank of Lt. General in the Indian Armed Forces. In 2005, she was made the first women Vice-Admiral of Indian Navy. She also became the first woman officer to command the Armed Force Medical College, when she took control over it in 2004.

What I read about her more was, she comes across as a very grounded person and I relate to the fact that to a woman when a higher responsibility comes-she gives her totality and if she is a very special woman, she brings in it the element of creativity and sustenance.

Hail the power of women, the universe she holds at her feet!
