Role title: Digital Marketing Professional/Content Writers

Grade / Level and function Digital Marketing Specialist– Corporate Communications
Reporting structure: Reporting to :Vice President – Corporate Communications

Position statement:
To be responsible for overall brand building and monitoring of the brand ,Handle the complete digital presence of our client  through websites, social media and blogs, with special focus on social media.
– Expertise in enhancing inbound traffic to our websites and social media platforms leading to increased ROI.

– To develop and execute solid plans to increase page views,unique visitors, dwell time and site stickiness to encourage repeat visits.

– Seamlessly integrate across different social media platforms, where we have presence

– Identify and increase brand  presence across new social media platforms

– Regularly be abreast with latest trends and suggest their feasibility for our Group

– Generate and circulate regular analytics report to the top management appraising them about our current presence and measures to improve

– Act in responsive manner while using platforms so as to not impact culture and image

– Introduce industry best practices and also educate relevant people within the organization.


–  A graduate from a reputed college/university (Business / Marketing preferred)

–  Should have attended at least one online marketing course through previous organization or individual capacity

– Proven experience in digital marketing and online PR

Desired :

– Internet savvy individual with a knack for exploratory research

–  A good working knowledge of web analytics, Photoshop and Dreamweaver ideal but not essential

– Ability to network across platforms, forums and blogs


3-5 years


Functional Competencies Required
–  Highly proficient in content writing

–  Strong understanding of digital landscape and its use to support and develop brand value

– Complete control on usage concepts across main platforms like Facebook, You Tube, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.

– Expertise in Social media marketing avenues for Corporates

– Smart in navigating across platforms scouting for new methods to increase presence

– Ability to identify means to optimize our presence in social media with minimal costs

-Should be well versed in cross-platform integration leading to tangible increase in brand visibility like increased views, likes, comments, retweets,etc

– Good understanding of analytic tools (both free and paid) and reports

– Regular monitoring of website visits and generate ideas to improve traffic

–  Regular update on blog. At least should be knowledgeable to refine given content

– Ability to write relevant content for posts with minimal supervision

– Should have or quickly establish network with industry relevant influencers/networkers

– Good knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics

– Liaison with graphic designer to understand the layouts of the business needs

– Good relationship management skills and a good team player

-Creative flair and enthusiasm for new ideas and concepts

– Confident, passionate and positive attitude

–  Tangible increase in measurable values for existing 30k Facebook likes, 300+ subscriptions on You tube channel .etc (these are just indicative and not restrictive)

– Prominent increase in virtual presence across multiple digital avenues

– Website ranked high among prominent competitors (either in Alexa or other sites)
